Heated Windshield STC

In 2003, Skytech, Inc. applied for and was issued a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the installation of a Piper Malibu Mirage PA46-350P Heated Windshield into Piper Malibu PA46-310P aircraft in accordance with Skytech, Inc. Glass Heated Windshield Installation, HTW-494-782-00, Revision 1, dated December 1, 2003.

In October 2013, Johnny Foster, one of the Founders of this Owner Pilot Association, generously transferred this STC to the Malibu-Mirage Owners and Pilots Association, Inc., which is now PMOPA. The STC is available to current members of PMOPA for a $100 administrative fee. Costs of materials and installation are, of course, due to the maintenance facility. Upon registering for this STC and remitting the $100 fee, PMOPA will send to the applicant via email:

1) The Supplemental Type Certificate, and authorization to use the STC;

2) Installation and Continued Airworthiness Instructions; and

3) An Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) Supplement.
